Front Desk Officer Maraba

As the Front Desk Officer at Pullus Africa, your primary responsibility will be to
provide exceptional customer service, serve as the first point of contact for visitors
and clients, and ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk.

You will manage inquiries, direct visitors to the appropriate departments, and support the
administrative team with various office tasks.

Your role will include maintaining a
professional, welcoming environment, handling phone calls and emails,
scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.

You will collaborate with
different teams to ensure an efficient office flow and contribute to the overall
success of business operations by ensuring a positive first impression for our
partners, clients, and guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Ensure the office is clean and functional. 
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls. 
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. 
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information about the company. 
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings. 
  • Maintain and update contact lists. 
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support, including data entry, photocopying, and filing. 
  • Assist the state head in the running of the office. 
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges). 
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and kitchen as needed. 
  • Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel. 
  •  

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a front desk or customer service role. 
  • High school diploma or NCE in Business Administration, Hospitality, or any related field. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with visitors, clients, and staff. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office management tools. 
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve issues and address concerns promptly.
  • Resides in Maraba and its environs.
