Sales Manager, Kaduna
The Sales Manager will lead Pullus’ sales function, driving revenue growth and market expansion across Nigeria. The role develops and executes sales strategies, manages the sales team, and ensures consistent achievement of sales targets. This position is central to building strong customer relationships, opening new markets, and positioning Pullus as the leading poultry and agritech partner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Planning
– Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with Pullus’ growth objectives.
– Define monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
– Identify new markets and high-value customer segments.
- Business Development & Client Management
– Acquire and grow B2B accounts (QSRs, retailers, hotels, institutions) and B2C channels.
– Negotiate contracts and partnerships for long-term retention.
– Represent Pullus at industry events and trade fairs.
- Team Leadership & Management
– Recruit, train, and manage Sales Executives and Account Officers.
– Set clear KPIs, track performance, and coach staff for improved conversion rates.
- Sales Operations & Reporting
– Use CRM and dashboards to track pipelines, forecasts, and client interactions.
– Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
– Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns and promotions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
– Coordinate with Supply Chain for product availability and timely delivery.
– Collaborate with QA to address product quality feedback.
– Work with Finance to align sales targets with revenue goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA an advantage).
- 7–10 years’ sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Strong B2B/B2C customer acquisition background, preferably FMCG/agribusiness.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
