What is the Pullus Extension Academy?
It’s a hands-on poultry extension training programme run by Pullus Africa. We train agricultural graduates , farm managers and practising extension officers to become qualified poultry professionals and connect the best of them to real opportunities within our farmer network.
Who can apply?
We have three tracks depending on your background:
⚪ White Belt — For graduates with no agriculture background who want to learn poultry farm management and poultry extension fundamentals.
🟢 Green Belt — For agricultural graduates with little to no hands-on poultry experience.
⚫ Black Belt — For practising extension officers with at least one year of field experience who want to specialise in poultry.
How long is the training?
White and Green Belt runs 4 weeks. Black Belt runs for 2 weeks. Both combine classroom learning with hands-on fieldwork.
How much does it cost?
White and Green Belt is ₦40,000. Black Belt is ₦30,000.
Where does the training take place?
Training takes place at our designated academy venue. Location details will be shared once your application is confirmed.
When does Cohort 1 start?
Cohort 1 begins June 1st 2026. Applications close 25th May, 2026.
What happens after I graduate?
Top-performing graduates are considered for placement within the Pullus Africa ecosystem.. You’ll also receive your Pullus Extension Academy certificate and join a growing network of trained poultry professionals.
Is placement guaranteed after training?
Placement isn’t automatic, but top performers from every cohort are actively considered for roles within our network. The more you put in, the better your chances.
I studied crop farming, not poultry. Can I still apply?
Yes — Green Belt is designed for people who are new to poultry specifically. If your background is in agriculture or a related field, you’re eligible to apply.

Will I get a certificate when I'm done?
Yes. Every student who completes the programme receives an official Pullus Extension Academy certificate. It’s a credential that shows farmers, employers, and partners that you’ve been trained to a real standard.
Is there an entrance requirement for Black Belt?
Yes. Before joining the Black Belt programme, all applicants are required to write an entrance exam. This is to confirm that you have the practical knowledge and field experience the programme is built on.
